Unrig USA exists because the American system of self-governance has a design flaw — and design flaws require design solutions.
Who We Are
A 501(c)(4) nonpartisan social welfare organization.
We don't endorse candidates. We don't have a party. We have a thesis: the system that produces bad outcomes is itself the problem — and fixing it requires structural intervention, not better politicians.
Our work is grounded in systems theory (Donella Meadows), democratic design, constitutional law, and the lived experience of Americans who know something is broken but can't name what.
What We Do
01
We translate systemic corruption into plain language using the vocabulary of systems theory.
02
We identify the 12 leverage points where intervention actually changes outcomes.
03
We create research-backed resources for organizers, educators, and citizens.
Why Nonpartisan
Because corruption is bipartisan.
Both parties benefit from the current system. Gerrymandering protects incumbents on both sides. Dark money flows to both sides. Congressional insider trading happens on both sides. The problem isn't which team is in charge — it's that the game is rigged.
